Go for it! It’s fun to try new things. Challenge yourself in different ways. I never thought I would enjoy this. Im so glad I did it.
How fun! I’ve dabbled in CrossFit, tried it for the first time in 2010 (before it was cool) but it gave me a great base for lifting! The classes were so small because it was so new and I learned so much. It provided me a great base of knowledge regarding mobility as well which is crucial for anyone that works out. Personally not a fan of group workouts but it’s nice to have someone formulate for you haha 😂

Hi Natalie❤ I just bought your cookbook and it looks really good. I can’t have wheat gluten because it hurts me, could I use chickpea flour instead? I can’t wait to make this beautiful food. I watched the video after I posted this comment. I think it takes a lot of maturity to realize what you want. It lets you know that you know yourself, and you have to be true to yourself. Everything happens for a reason and there is absolutely nothing wrong with having fun with sports. It can truly make you deeply happy and feel strong at the same time. I have been watching you for a long time, and I see a level of maturity that comes from living your best life and appreciating yourself for all your accomplishments. It can be quite liberating. Those who really love you will be here no matter what. ❤

Hi Natalie! Do you know of any trainers in the West LA area that you’d recommend? You’re such an inspiration, especially as I’m also primarily plant-based. I’m super into health/fitness and don’t know if I’d ever compete bikini, BUT I’d love to at least work with someone experienced with NPC or even IFBB!

I myself have been battling leaving the sport as it is a love relationship that is no longer fitting me anymore. Hard to let it go. 11:15 this... enough said. And dont say you dont compare to them..... they can't compare to YOU, sunshine. Anyone who decides to stay natural is top-notch in my book. That may be offensive, but I feel like natural athletes in bodybuilding just dont get the flowers they deserve.
Life has seasons. I don't think we are meant to stay in just one so be true to your journey and the season you are in. I would love to see this new season and what it brings in routine changes and diet changes whatever that is. What a great learning experience for you and your supporters!

Love this podcast environment! Like you, I took a break from running races (marathons, etc...) to allow myself to heal. But I have yet to return as I discussed with my wife...I have nothing more to prove and now I just want to train to be healthy. Its such a large pill to swallow and admit to but once I decided, training became fun again. I also just switched over to Vedge and I'm loving their products! Hope to see more of this type of content 😊

Good for you, do what you enjoy doing which is going to evolve over time. So happy for you, was never here for your competitions. I’ve always been here because I ❤ you as a person! I used to compete a little bit 10+ years ago and also got burnt out and kind of sick of lifting. I love the variety of exercise I’ve been able to do over the years
